Generic story that never ends.

Mommy's gone with another man
Daddy's drunk to death again
With no friends in this ghostly town
Lonely kid could not be found

Deep inside, he's got a chance
To find his way and make amends
He knows his time will come again
Constancy will lead the way

Hiding in the basement of the school
Billy Oliver was stealing books
Drinking words from dusk to dawn
Feeding his brain anyway he could

But then one day he found the grail
An old record of a punk rock band
Scratch his pockets for a bit of change
Bought an old guitar at a garage sale

To find his way and make amend
He knows his time will come again

Two years later got a garage band
Finally found and made some friends
